Fallback procedure is to use motherboard CD doesn't always work from what I've readand as a last resort the unbrick it procedure doesn't always work either.
DVD-R Testing - Have been having some problems with this build for a while now. Not going dra upgrade BIOS, unless you think it is absolutely essential.

I do have some stability problem that I need to track down but having your Dfw wiped and not being able to recover is pretty catastrophic. Then again, if the board is dead then it's dead I guess.

With laser precision, the drive renders the text and images asux you created for the label. Then there is the question as to why the BIOS got corrupted or wiped, very bad.
Results 1 to 10 of My research thus far tells me this is a reasonably common problem with Gigabyte boards. Swapped memory modules around, tried booting with just a single memory modeule tried each onesame result.
It does only have one memory stick in atm. I did eventually find stable memory timings etc but it was some task.

Testing Methodology - 6: I started having some stability issues a while back as I indicated in my first post and I never quite got to the bottom of that. Ya, I'll send you the info in a PM, give me a sec. Although it takes longer, this is the mode to used for a full-disc image. Audio-CD Testing - 8: Data-CD Testing - 7: There are three different layout modes for burning labels: I had the drive disconnected at the time it recovered.

It did eventually, for no apparrent reason, pot luck I guess. The time now is Can anyone tell me.
EPUDP3 There is only two ways to correct azus since it is not recovering from the hard drive backup You did wait several minutes when it says recover right? Only LightScribe media has this special coating and as mentioned before, this makes Lightscribe media more expensive.
I think I know about the fix that you said you would PM to me, I came across it during my research. Took me a long time to get stable memory timings but once I got that, yes it was stable as shown by prime95, memtest and intelburntest. The light from the laser causes a chemical change in the dye coating that shows up on the disc.
Machine ran fine for well over 12 months and it gets hammered, lot's of intense gaming. I also have a machine with EXDS4 mobo and that machine is much more critical.

If only I would have looked a little closer at burning times. But it will always look there first, and since you apparently had it enabled once before it will always see that images unless you low level format your hard drive to get it off there. Would you mind sending it to me anyway, just for future reference.
I'm happy to write it to the hard drive but don't know how to make it do that can't find the option.
